Located just 77 miles from Geneva and with Calais only 9/10 hours drive (511 miles) away; this resort is ideal for the British ski drive holidaymaker.
To reach the main skiing slopes there is a choice of either a mountain railway from the centre of the town to the Col de Soud (1524m) or a cable car to Bretaye at 1806m.
Apres ski includes skating and swimming, indoor tennis and squash, and then to relax there is sauna, a fitness club, cinema and library. For those with energy still to burn there is bowling and curling.
The village is typically Swiss (French region) in style, idyllic and is situated on a sunny plateau with a lot of charming character. The skiing is especially good with 220km of marked pistes and 67 runs, most of which are suitable for all grades of skiers. The resort is linked to Les Diablerets and also to Alpe des Chaux - a satellite village situated about 5 miles away which is reached by car to the base station at Barboleuse (1200m) - so there is more than enough skiing to keep even the most ardent of enthusiasts happy for the duration of the holiday.
