Sainte Foy, France

A beautiful small resort with lots of charm and atmosphere - A "HIDDEN" Gem So Don't Tell Anyone!

Lots of snow, good uphill transport and slopes to be enjoyed. This resort remains one of the best kept secrets in the Alps. But for how much longer as word has got round following thew successful UK marketing of the village by Premiere-Neige!

Sainte Foy is a beautiful resort with plenty of charm and character yet close by are its famous neighbours of Les Arcs, La Plagne, Tignes and Val d'Isere. It nestles in the French Alps, close to the Italian border, at a height of 1550 metres rising up to 2620m. The resort enjoys astunning location that gives breathtaking views of the valley below and the impressive Mount Pourri plus access to over 800 hectares of virgin snow right on your doorstep!

It is often referred to as the "Jewel in the Crown"of the French Alps as it is surrounded by the world famous ski villages as well as the smaller resorts of Villaroger and La Rosiere from where you can ski into Italy! But not for Sainte Foy are there lift queues, busy restaurants and wild night-life. If you are seeking these, then go elsewhere!

This central location gives you access to some of the best skiing the world has to offer and is a perfect base to experience Premiere Neige's unique ski-safari adventure where you can boast of skiing up to 7 different resorts in one week and with Sainte Foy's brilliantly affordable lift passes (half the price of those in Val d'Isere and Les Arcs!) you are in for a treat.

Sainte Foy has its own ski shop, lift pass office, mini supermarket, boulangerie for your fresh croissants, lively bar with live music through the season and also 4 restaurants. The nearby villages also boat some delightful traditional restaurants with some first class cuisine and wines and a great atmosphere you really feel you have discovered something special! However St Foy still remains remarkably unspoilt and has managed to preserve its authentic charm and alpine architecture.

For the coming winter season, Premiere-Neige has added new chalets such as the luxury "Bouquetin (sleeps 12) which has log fire, private bar, 6-ensuite bedrooms and two separate living rooms. Then there is a new Premiere Creche & Nanny Service for this winter, allowing parents to enjoy their holiday away for the youngsters in the daytime!

The chalets and apartments are all of a very high quality newly built over the last 3yrs, to suit the needs of modern skiing holidays but in a traditional style maintaining the alpine feel with plenty of exposed timber, stunning views and cosy log fires to relax in front of after a hard day on the slopes! Most of our chalets are less than 150m to the first lift and boast DVD, boot heaters, underfloor heating with our top chalets offering saunas, Jacuzzis and Sky TV.

If you book early this winter you will find you can save on your travel arrangements as Easyjet flights start from only 80.

There is a mixture of catered and self catered accommodation to suit all budgets. ACOMMODATION Please check all the resort's catered and self catered chalets: Prices includes accommodation & in resort services only not travel: www.premiere-neige.
