Germany's Longest Downhill Run Can be Enjoyed Here

Germanys Longest Downhill Run Can be Enjoyed Here Located at the foot of the Karwendel mountain and close to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the resort has a downhill course of 7km at the Dammkar (Germany's longest) and a total of 22km of downhill runs. These are served by l gondola; l chair lift and 6 drag lifts and some runs are floodlit at night.

There is a network of cross country tracks stretching as far as Seefeld in the Tirol as well as horse drawn sleigh rides and a toboggan run. The resort has beds for 5,500 visitors and it is not too far to try a days' skiing at either Garmisch or at Seefeld.

A car journey will take approximately 10 hours via the German autobahnen network and a drive south of Munchen, alternatively you can fly using either the airports of Munich or Innsbruck (Austria).
