Village of the Glaciers

August 2007

More affectionately known as the 'Village of the Glaciers', Grindelwald tops it all with great skiing, scenery and for 2007 is offering more for families. A blue run in the First ski area has been made a "Tempo 30" slow speed zone especially for families with small children. The piste will be cordoned off and reserved for slower skiers. Grindelwald also has a new family mascot, Cocolino, a blue cat with a funny eye-patch who children can visit at Cocolino Castle within the ski school area.

Depart on 6th January and stay at the 3* Hotel Bodmi, located right next to the children's nursery slopes and ski school, for 7 nights on half board with prices starting from £1907 for a family of two adults & 2 children under 12, including flights from Gatwick and resorts transfers. Flights are also available from Manchester (+£30), Birmingham (+£29), Stansted & Glasgow (+£42). Parents can pre-book children's ski helmets for £11.
